There is no such thing as one bike that can do it all, but the Cross-Check comes mighty close. It's a cyclocross bike by design, but don’t be fooled into thinking that it has only one purpose. This jack-of-all-trades will do just as well getting you across the country as it does getting you across town. At home on the road, on trails, and on gravel, the Cross-Check'll fit pretty big tires, or smaller ones if you like. It can be built as a geared bike, a singlespeed, or a fixed-gear. The Cross-Check’s frame is engineered to supply a comfortable but lively ride. The tubing is CroMoly steel, high quality, custom-drawn, and built to our specifications. It's designed to work with components of popular sizes, meaning you can find both new and old parts to hang on this frame. It will accommodate a wide range of crank types and chainring sizes. It's got accommodations for racks and fenders (front and rear) and, because of its ample tire clearance, you can outfit it to suit where and how you will use it. There's a reason the Cross-Check has remained popular after all these years. The frame is comfy, tough as nails, and super versatile. Surly continues to hear from people for whom the Cross-Check has long been their go-to bike simply because it performs so astonishingly well on any surface.

Many Ritchey-sponsored mountain bike champions were also cyclocross champions—Thomas Frischknecht, Henrik Djernis and Ruthie Matthes, to name a few. And though they were paid to race Ritchey mountain bikes, they often wanted a Ritchey cyclocross bike to race in the winter. This ultimately resulted in another iconic Ritchey model—the Swiss Cross. Now the Swiss Cross is back, and better than ever. We started with the same forged-and-machined integrated head tube design found on the P-29er—80 grams lighter than a standard 1-1/8" head tube and just as strong—a design which also provides much-needed shouldering room at the head tube. Tubing is an all-new triple-butted, heat treated steel designed to Tom's specifications for a classically lightweight, compliant, yet tough-as-nails frame. Geometry has been updated to reflect what 'cross riders want: race-ready handling and responsiveness that's still versatile enough to serve as a capable all-around rough road/trail bike. Tire clearance? Plenty. The Swiss Cross is designed with 'cross racing in mind, after all. But with two bottle cage mounts, the Swiss Cross is perfect for long mixed rides in the off-season. - Painted-to-match Ritchey WCS Cross fork and WCS integrated headset included - Bottom Bracket: 68mm English threaded - Front Derailleur Clamp: 28.6mm (Caution: Front derailleur clamp MAX torque of 2.5Nm) - Headset: WCS integrated drop-in 41.8 (included) - 130mm rear spacing - Weight: 1941g / 4.28lbs (55cm, frame only) - Sold as frameset only
In pro cyclocross racing, every advantage counts. Fast starts, tight corners, efficiency and control through dirt, sand and mud. Proven by top World Cup pros for years, the legendary TCX gets a reboot this year with some key updates to make it faster and smoother than ever. Pro cyclocross racers settle for nothing less than perfection, and this is the machine that meets their demands. The all-new TCX Advanced Pro features a redesigned, superlight Advanced-grade composite frame that’s handcrafted with race-proven geometry and asymmetrical chainstays for optimal power transfer. Its D-Fuse composite seatpost helps smooth out bumps and vibrations with an innovative D-shaped shaft. New for this year is the option to use a 30.9mm round standard or dropper seatpost instead depending on your riding style and terrain. Other innovations include a lightweight composite WheelSystem and tubeless tires right out of the box; flat-mount disc brakes; and 12mm front and rear thru-axles for total control and fast cornering, sprinting and climbing in all conditions. Lighter and more efficient Advanced-grade composite frameset is 17.5 percent lighter than the previous generation. The frame is now 850g versus 1050g, and the fork is 400g versus 460g. Frame and fork torsional/pedaling stiffness remain the same. Total control Integrated disc brake technology with flat mounts and thru-axle hubs, combined with tubeless ready Giant WheelSystem, delivers added control in variable conditions and all types of weather. Smooth ride quality D-Fuse composite seatpost helps absorb bumps and vibrations, and new this year is the option to switch to a standard 30.9 round or dropper post depending on your riding style and terrain. Most Advanced Pro models come with a new full-carbon D-Fuse SLR seatpost.
